Water Babies!

My best friend Alicia's birthday was this weekend, but she was going to be away on vacation. So we celebrated a couple of days early by meeting up for a play date at Oviedo's Splash Zone. That's how you know you're a mom--when the adult birthday celebrations are at a kiddie pool. :) We got there just in time, because the next group after us was turned away because they'd reached capacity! Here's our sunshine babies, all ready to splash!

The only water baby missing was Emily, she was at school. It felt weird to be there without her, but we still had a good time. It felt so good to play in the water with the girls, and it's nice that they can run and play while we can be in the water and keep an eye on them the whole time!

Haddie shied away from the slide at first, but once she warmed up to it, there was no stopping her! :)

It was a great way to spend the afternoon, and we were there for a few hours! Madi and I left and went straight to Emily's school to pick her up, and I could definitely see her notice that we had swimsuits on...she kept looking at them and then giving me the evil eye. ;)
