Here She Comes!

Look out world, today Emily started THIRD GRADE!!!

I don't know how it's possible, but Emily is officially a third grader. To think how different our lives would be right now if she was a typical third grader--fractions, cursive writing, and the stinky old FCAT. I can't even imagine a life with such a "grown up" kid! Although, this one's getting pretty grown up herself, even big enough to wear her backpack and carry her lunchbox. :)

When I dropped her off at school, she made sure she grabbed Ladybug out of the car. The therapist tried to carry it for her, but Emily refused to let go. I think she wanted to make sure herself that her BFF made it in to the school with her. :)

This post has to end with a huge thank you to the 81 people who made donations to Help Keep Emily in Her School since we started the website in February. Without all of these donations, Emily would not be at ABC for her first day of school today. And I probably wouldn't have dropped her off at school with a big proud smile either! Thank you! :)
