Austin was working out in the yard early one evening so Madi was hanging out with him. He found a lizard on a tree, and when he tried to catch it, it didn't even run away. So he held it in his hand for Madi to see, and she was just beside herself with excitement. I couldn't believe the lizard just stayed on Austin's hand while she used her index finger to pet it on its back!
It crawled all over Austin's hand and arm, and even right up on to his shoulder and back! Madi just couldn't get enough, and even got brave enough to hold it herself. :)
When Austin took the lizard back from Madi, it was perched on his finger and staring at Austin. You can see in this picture that Austin looks a little unsure, like he's suspecting something is about to happen...
And with one big lizard leap, it happened. :)
Madi was just hysterical, laughing so loud and so hard! Good thing Daddy's tougher than me, because I would have been screaming and running across the yard by this point!
