Happy 7th birthday to my niece Rianne! This year for her birthday, she had a very small party with just a couple of friends: Karymar, Heather, and Madi. We met at All Fired Up in Winter Park so the girls could paint ceramics. Madi had never done anything like this before, so she was very excited!
Rianne had absolutely adorable "Topsy Teacup" decorations, and the colors looked so perfect with the brightly painted walls in All Fired Up.
Madi was very excited to be at a party with just big girls, and the girls were anxious to pick out their ceramic pieces! Rianne chose a unicorn bank, and the rest of the girls chose a Hello Kitty piece.
The girls got to choose whatever colors they wanted to paint with, and it was so fun to sit back and watch them paint and chit chat amongst each other.
Madi didn't want me to help her paint her Hello Kitty. Apparently, I was just there to get more paint when she needed it. :) While the other girls went for a more traditional looking Hello Kitty, Madi painted each part of hers a different color.
I love that serious face. :) After they are fired, the colors will get darker and the ceramic will be shiny.
After the girls were done painting, it was time for cupcakes! I've had a new pink lemonade cupcake and icing mix that I've been wanting to try, so Rianne's party seemed perfect. They pink lemonade was very good!
Pink lemonade cupcakes with pink lemonade icing, pink and yellow sprinkles, and a sour cherry candy on top. With a glittery candle, of course...I can't believe Rianne is 7 already!
And I couldn't post pictures from All Fired Up, and not post this one...the bathroom had one of those toilets where you push the button on the left if you only need to use a little water to flush, or you push the button on the right if you need to use the full amount of water. This painted ceramic sign above the potty was supposed to explain which button was which, but when I went in to check on the big girls, they were a little confused on how to flush. I explained what the sign meant, and they said, "Ohhhh!!! We thought it was just a picture of lemonade and chocolate!!!" I wasn't quite sure what to say to that one. :)
