We finally made it DeLand today to visit Grandma. She hadn't seen Madi in person yet, and it's Mother's Day, so the extra special occasion required that Madi get all dressed up. :)
Madilynn couldn't have behaved any better! (Emily's another story, of course!) :) Madi slept the whole way there, then woke up long enough to visit with Aunt Vera and Grandma. Then she nursed, fell asleep for the rest of the visit, and then slept the whole way home as well!
Emily had lots of fun with the balloon she brought for Grandma that said "I Love You Grandma." Too bad Grandma didn't actually get to keep it! She also spent the day testing out her forehead on any hard surface she could find. She sure kept everyone on the edge of their seats! But we had fun and it was nice to get out of the house for a change.
Austin had a fun day too--he went fishing today for the first time in several weeks. He loved getting back out on the water, and I have to admit that seeing how smooth the St. John's was today, I found myself wishing I was out there with him! :)
