Yesterday was Austin's 31st birthday. We usually go out to dinner for his birthdays but since that would be a little difficult with Madi having colic, we decided last minute to just have a few people over for a little cookout. I was concerned that it would either be too hot or it would rain, but it wound up being great weather! Sunny but breezy in the shade. The kids had a lot of fun playing in the backyard "water park" that Austin set up for them!
We had smoked chicken and fish, and grilled hot dogs. And cupcakes and watermelon and popsicles. It felt like the start of summer and we all had so much fun!
And of course, there were baby snuggles as well!
