There have been a lot of birthday celebrations around here lately, and finally, it's my turn! Not that I'm in any hurry, because I do not want to turn 31! :)
Pink dumbells for working out...Madi had to show me how to use them. :)
Madi was so excited that it was Mommy's birthday. She got me a SpongeBob game (in an Angry Birds bag--silly girl) and a can of "Michael Jackson soda." It was the new Pepsi with the Michael Jackson picture on it, to celebrate the 25th anniversary of his appearance on the Pepsi can. She kept telling me "Drink it Mommy! It's yummy! Drink the Michael Jackson soda!"
Our plans for the rest of the day were cancelled thanks to Tropical Storm Debby: We couldn't go to the beach and we couldn't walk around Downtown Disney. So we sat around for a little while, eating candy from Ansley's party and visiting with Tracie, John, and Rianne. Then we left and drove to the Altamonte Mall to spend my birthday money from Mom and Candy. I found lots of stuff at H&M (but not David Beckham in his underwear--very disappointing), and the kids/husband were very patient while I visited the dressing room over and over. We had my favorite meal for dinner, Austin's chicken and mushroom pasta, and then Cheesecake Factory for dessert!
Even though Debby ruined most of our plans, she certainly didn't ruin my birthday...in the end, I got to do what I get to do every day: Spend it with my beautiful little family!
