Happy Father's Day!

We spoiled Daddy on Father's Day this year, and I don't think he minded one bit. ;) We woke up in the morning and the girls gave Daddy his presents. Madi picked a monkey gift bag for his gift, since he calls the girls his little monkeys. :)

I do not know how the dog always manages to come

from nowhere and sneak in to family photos...

Daddy was so proud of her for writing his name on the envelope all by herself (and drawing a happy face).

I found the idea for Austin's gift on Pinterest (too addicting), and he loved it! We got a 6 pack of IBC Cream Soda and covered the packaging and empty bottles in scrapbook paper. We went to the Dollar Tree and got all of Austin's favorite treats...Mike and Ike's, Lemonheads, Good & Plenty, Boston Baked Beans, and Sunflower Seeds. I was going to get pistachios from another store to put in the 6th bottle, but Madi insisted for 2 weeks that he needed "pixie dust" for his hair. She just wouldn't budge--so pixie dust it is. :)

Then, just a few days before Father's Day, we had a hummingbird in the backyard! Neither of us had ever seen one before, and everyone just stood and watched it, afraid to move and get the camera. It was so amazing, and everyone was excited to get a hummingbird feeder ASAP. So we surprised Daddy with a hummingbird feeder and nectar too.

And a balloon, but you-know-who refused to share it. :)

Then it was off to a nice breakfast together at 5 & Diner, and some shopping for new tennis shoes at Kohl's. We hope Austin knows how much we appreciate everything he does for our family! We couldn't do it without him, and wouldn't want to either! Love you babe! Happy Father's Day!
