We finally made it to Taylor Swift! After a couple of years of trying to get concert tickets, we all managed to get our hands on single-seat tickets. That tells you how desperate we were to go...we didn't even care if we couldn't sit together. :) We already considered it pretty miraculous that the 5 of us (me, Alicia, Brittney, Keri and her daughter Eliza) got tickets to begin with, but we were ecstatic when no one checked our seat numbers and we were able to stand together for the entire concert! Keri and Eliza were just one section over, so we could see them and wave. :)
Taylor performed for 2 hours, and it was the most amazing concert I've ever been too. Very theatrical, like a Cirque du Soleil show. We sang at the top of our lungs to every song, and it was really cool to hear the rest of the arena doing the same thing! (By the way, the new Amway Arena is gorgeous, and it will be so nice to have shows coming back to Orlando again! I got tired of driving to Tampa!) Taylor was awesome, and throughout her show, she moved from the main stage, to a lit-up tree on the other side of the arena, to a balcony that went right above us as it moved around the arena. I think just about everyone there was able to say at one point "She was right in front of us!" The night ended way too fast, and I'm already ready to go again!
