Emily's "Orlando Sentinel" Appearance

Austin's boss Christine sent our story about Emily and her fundraiser to Scott Maxwell at the Orlando Sentinel back in February. He wrote her back saying he was going to forward the email on to the Sentinel's education writers. I hadn't heard anything since then, and honestly hadn't given it much thought--I figured they are contacted about a lot of stories and have to decide which is most important to the largest number of readers. So I was surprised when I opened my email on Wednesday and there was a message from Lauren Roth, wanting to know a little more about Emily's story. I gave her a few missing details and less than 24 hours later, she sent me a link to her article! I thought it was so cool of her to include our fundraising link! Emily's school is so excited for her and plans on sending the article home with the other families at the school.
