We were so excited that Brittney and Cody came home from South Carolina for Emily's birthday weekend! We haven't seen them (other than Skype) since they moved in early December. That's the longest I've gone in 19 years without seeing Brittney! Too long! But we are excited for them that they are off starting their new life together as husband and wife! They (and their adorable "baby" Annabelle) stayed with us for the weekend, and we definitely made the most of the time we had together! Emily's birthday party, shopping, a visit to an adorable butterfly garden, slumber parties, movie night, and a big sis/little sis night for Brittney and me at Mardis Gras Universal Studios. We are looking forward to seeing them again in just a few weeks for Madi's birthday, and we're planning on visiting them in SC this summer.
