Good thing this week is almost over!
Emily woke up coughing and struggling to breathe around 3am. She sounded like she did when she had croup last March, but it sounded a little worse this time. So we didn't take any chances, and we all piled in the van to make a trip to Arnold Palmer ER. We were there till 7am, doing breathing treatments and steroid meds, but Emily seemed to be doing better almost right away. Here she is watching Disney channel in the ER room...
We are all exhausted, with the exception of Emily, who is spinning on her zebra and laughing. :) Austin had to go in to work, so he is going to have an especially long day! I think it will be early to bed for all of us tonight!! Of all the things we've gone through with Emily, this croup business is by far the scariest! Thank goodness it seems to pass quickly!
