Pumpkin Carving

Last night we carved our pumpkin for Halloween. It's stinks that in Florida you have to wait until the last minute to carve it or it rots before Halloween. It turned out really good and the girls love it, so I think I'm going to let it stay on display for a little while!

First, we tried to set down some newspapers for the mess. We seem to have a 6 month old termite in this house though, so that was easier said than done. :)

Next we let Madi play with the pumpkin guts. And her case, "play" means "attempt to eat." :)

Then it was Emily's turn. We put her in her bedroom to play while it was Madi's turn, so Emily wouldn't see what we were doing and refuse before we even got a chance to try. Turned out (as usual) no one was fooling her! :)
