My little Madi Pie is 4 months old today! 4 months!! She had her check up yesterday, and she is 23 1/2 inches long and 12 pounds, 1 ounce. So in 2 months she has grown a healthy 2 inches and gained over 2 1/2 pounds. We are done with the colic (woo hoo!) and she is sleeping longer at night. This week she has slept in her crib every night (instead of with me or in the bassinet in our room). Most nights she slept from 10:30pm until 5:00am. But last night she went to bed at 10:15 and she didn't wake up until 6:45 this morning! Here she is when I went in to get her.
She is such a happy girl, smiling and laughing pretty frequently. She doesn't scream in the car anymore, and if you have her in a reclined position, she will do her best to try and sit up! I can't believe how much she is changing. Her new "thing" is to bounce when you hold her under her arms with her feet on your lap. She was cracking up with Brittney when she'd bounce and then Britt would lift her a few inches off the ground, as if she were jumping. :) We put her in the doorway jumper, but you can see in the video that she was a little confused and was more interested in watching Emily play in her room. Emily was busy pretending she wasn't there and shooting us dirty looks. :)
