Emily (and Mommy) survived her first day of kindergarten! She woke up in a great mood and we all got out the door on time! Her backpack was stuffed full of all her favorites: her Papa shirt, her vibrating/musical blue cow, and a piece of material she loves to make scratchy noises on.
Her lunch box was packed with her favorite foods, including TWO containers of butterscotch pudding and a special love note from Mommy.
Her teachers were waiting for her on the car ramp and they were excited to see her! Here she is with Miss Angela, right before we left and she didn't give us another glance! :)
When I picked her up this afternoon, her teachers said she had a great day and played and explored the classroom. They didn't need to use any of the "In Case of Emergency" toys in her backpack, and she ate ALL of her food with no issues!!! She looked happy when I picked her up and has been in a great mood since we came home. Hooray for Emily!!
