Surgery #13

It's getting hard to keep track now, and Emily's Beanie Baby collection is getting quite large! Emily had her 10th set of ear tubes placed today, but hopefully this will be the last set for a while, as Dr. C was finally able to get the more permanent T-tubes to fit! Yay! Emily was supposed to have an GI endoscopy last week, but when we found out she needed tubes again, we asked the doctors to coordinate so she only had to be sedated once. I'm so thankful they were willing to do that, and they took care of all of the scheduling themselves. Both procedures went great and without incident, and Emily was playing at home before it was even 10am!

She was still waking up from the sedation when I got back to her, so it was nice to be there when she opened her eyes. She was a little groggy and wobbly at first, but was all smiles just a few minutes later. She's such a little trooper!
